NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 09/15/15 -- Fusion (NASDAQ: FSNN), a leading provider of cloud services, today announced that eFaucets, a leading online kitchen and bath retailer, has selected Fusion as its cloud services provider.
eFaucets is growing fast, expanding its headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin, and three additional locations in and around Denver. Company leaders were faced with the challenge of connecting various divisions and departments under one communications umbrella. eFaucets President and CEO Mike Fox needed a flexible and reliable high-speed network providing meaningful cost savings. The company chose Fusion, a provider with a proven track record and staying power.
Fox turned to Dan Byers, Managing Partner of RRB Telecom, for help. Byers recommended the team at Fusion, with whom he's worked for the last decade, to implement a cloud-based communications system supported by Fusion's geographically diverse and fully redundant network. The results were immediately clear.
"Fusion's cloud communications and connectivity solutions doubled our capacity while cutting our communications costs to just a third of what we were paying with an old-fashioned hard-wired system," Fox said.
"As eFaucets has discovered, many premise-based systems have limitations in terms of scalability and features that only become apparent as users seek to add more advanced functionality," said Russell P. Markman, Fusion's President of Business Services. "Fusion's cloud-based solutions are designed to support the company's impressive growth plans, now and in the future.
"We are delighted to have partnered with eFaucets to produce a case study and accompanying video illustrating how eFaucets is leveraging the many benefits of the Fusion cloud to help power their nationwide expansion," Markman continued.
Fusion is providing eFaucets with guaranteed bandwidth via a secure MPLS network converging voice and data traffic, doubling eFaucets' capacity while prioritizing voice over data to avoid call stacking, even during the busiest seasons. The initial three year agreement with Fusion reflects eFaucets' firm commitment to investing in the infrastructure necessary to sustain its long term growth strategy and to deliver an industry-leading customer experience.
"Fusion provided us with the high-speed connectivity we required across multiple locations at a price we can afford," Fox said. "Fusion's cloud voice and network solutions extend customer service availability to accommodate different time zones. Employees across the eFaucets family can now answer any call at any time from any location, so customers on both coasts and every location in between get the same great customer service," Fox added.
Increased capacity and cost savings are certainly important, but Byers said he presented Fusion's services to Fox because Fusion stands behind its services.
"The true measure of a company is how they come through for you when there's a problem," Byers stated. "Fusion always comes through with quick resolutions, which is especially important with a company like eFaucets and its complex networks."
