Solutions Deliver Community Internet, Wi-Fi and Cloud Connectivity
NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/14 -- Fusion (OTCQB: FSNND), a leading cloud communications, cloud connectivity and cloud computing services provider, announced today that it has successfully implemented its cloud connectivity service via an aerial dark fiber connection between the City of Englewood, New Jersey and the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) data center. The connection will be used primarily to deliver Internet and Wi-Fi services to businesses and visitors in the City of Englewood, and to EHMC patients and their guests, as well as enable these users access to cloud-based services.
A national cloud service provider with a robust nationwide network, Fusion has a strong local presence in northern New Jersey. The services will be monitored and maintained from Fusion's Wayne, New Jersey Network Operating Center, with 24 x 7 live coverage and support.
Fusion co-managed the project in concert with Ackrion, Inc., a provider of leading edge municipal outdoor Wi-Fi solutions, the Englewood Economic Development Corporation, and the Bergen Performing Arts Center, which hopes to use the new connection to enable live broadcast of entertainment and events.
